The Properties: addtion multiplication
 Commutative:a+b= b+a ab=ba
 Associative:(a+b)+c=a+(b+c) (ab)c=a(bc)
 Inverse:a+(-a)=0 a(1/a)= 1, a=NOT 0
 Distributive: a(b+c)=ab+ac

explanation in words:
Commutative: When you "commute" to a place, you move from spot A, to spot B.
Associative: when you are "associating" with a group of people, you are
interacting from person A, to person B, without leaving your spot
                    or post.
Inverse: To find the inverse, is to find the number opposite of what you are
multiplying it by, so it can equal to 0.
Distributive: When you "distrtibute" something, you are passing it out to what
                     it's being distributed to.

Examples: Identifying the properties shown
a) (4+16)=(16+4) = commutative/addition
b) 14(-161+32)= -2254+448= distributive
c) (91x3)12=91(3x12)= associative/multiplication

Now you try!
a) (43+887)+13=43+(887+13)= ?
b) (554)(31)(2)= (2)(554)(31)= ?
c) 19+(-19)=0= ?
