Not any numbers can be plotted on a number line. Only the real numbers can be graphed on the number line. For example, square root – 23 cannot be plotted because it is not a real number.

Graph square root – 2, square root 4, - square root 16, and 4/3.

 

Answer:

Root -2 cannot be graphed on the number line because it is not a real number.
